You can attend classes at our studio by being a member of our studio (Membership), or buying packs of class passes.
We can set your Membership to start on any day of the month. Your first day of your Membership is the first payment date.
Each month, the payment date will be the same as the first day (unless you request for your monthly payment date to be set to a different day to your membership start date).
Each month you will have a set number of classes to use (Monthly Allocation) as part of your Membership (see our "Pricing" section of our website).
To enable you flexibility, you can use your Monthly Allocation of classes however you wish over the month (one per week/two per week is our suggestion).
An average month has 4.34 weeks, so we give you 5/10 classes per calendar month. If you are attending classes weekly, then in shorter months you will be left with 1/2 extra classes to use that month.
Your Monthly Allocation resets every month. For example, if you start your Membership on the 6th of the month, then your Monthly Allocation will start on the 6th and run until the 5th of following month. Your Monthly Allocation will then reset on the 6th.
You can track the classes you have used as part of your Monthly Allocation by logging into your Team Up Account (you will need to do this on via desktop/url as you cannot view this in the Team Up App).
As a holder of a Membership you:
- get cheaper classes (compared to buying class passes)
- can set up automatic class booking (see below)
- can book classes 6 months in advance
- set up easy direct debit payments
- get 10% off all branded merchandise and socks (excludes small equipment and SevenSeventeen).
If you would like to attend the same class/classes each week we can set up recurring bookings for the class which automatically books you into the class of your choice 12 weeks in advance. Please email joni@thepilatescompany.uk to set up automatic recurring bookings of the class you want to attend each week.
We have a 24 hour class cancellation policy (applicable to Memberships and class passes). If you cancel a class you are booked into outside of 24 hours before the class start time, the class goes back to your account for you to use again. If you cancel within 24 hours of the class start time you lose the class credit.
If you do not cancel your class and do not show to your class, you will be marked as a “no show” and you will lose your class credit.
If you are away for 14 days or more, you may pause your Membership, and you will not be charged for the time of your pause. Your next payment when you restart will be reduced pro-rata to take into consideration your pause. You can email joni@thepilatescompany.co.uk to set up a pause on your Membership.
There are no set up fees or cancellation fees for any of our memberships.
You can downgrade, upgrade or cancel your membership at anytime. Please email Grace@thepilatescompany.co.uk to do this.
When managing your Membership or class passes, we use the booking system Team Up. Here you can book and cancel classes, view your Membership usage, see you billing day and amount and upcoming charges.
We recommend that clients use the Team Up App (downloadable on Apple and Android). However, the App is limited in functionality. To fully manage your class bookings and account settings, please use log into your Team Up Account on a desktop (not on the App).
Would you like to receive reminders of class bookings via your calendar? You can automatically export your upcoming class bookings to your favourite calendar application (iCal, Google & Outlook). You can find instructions on how to do this here:
Would you like to notifications via SMS or email?
You can set up notifications by simply logging into your Team Up Account (not on the Team Up App) and go to "Notifications" to control what notifications you receive and how you receive them.
For all full classes, you can add your name to the waitlist of a class. When you add your name to a waitlist of a class:
a. If a space comes available before 5 days of the class start time, you will be automatically added to the class and an email sent to you confirming your place in the class.
b. If a space comes available within 5 days of the class start time, you will receive an email asking you whether you wish to be added to the class. You will have 60 minutes to accept this space in the class. If you do not accept the space in the class, then an email will be sent to the next client on the waitlist.
SMS Notifications
An easy way to manage your waitlisted classes is to set up SMS notifications. You can set up SMS notifications to let you know when spaces in classes you are waitlisted for become available (and accept spaces via SMS). To do this, simply log onto your Team Up Account (not on the Team Up App) and go to notifications and set up SMS for waitlist notifications.
In App Push Notifications
You can also set up you Team Up App to send you push notifications to let you know when a space comes up. Simply log onto your Team Up Account (not on the Team Up App) and go to notifications and set up push notifications for waitlist notifications.
